While this version may go out of stock from time to time, we'll release batches of it whenever necessary, with the idea that this colorway is a standard offering. Survival Red references the use of red as a popular option with outdoors and survival companies, some of which are so well known for their red products, the color has become synonymous with the brand. We've offered red pens, even red and black releases in the past, but never as a standard release, until now. The RKiV field pen is the perfect canvas for this colorway. The sleek design looks incredible with a matte red anodize finish on the heavily tumbled aluminum pen body. The micro-ring texture is just visible and adds a touch of texture when gripping the pen. The matte black hardware with black chrome mechanism pulls the whole thing together. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003c\/em\u003eThe RKiV field pen is another step forward in our journey to make pens that are made to go anywhere and write everywhere. The RKiV is a small-format, click-style pen similar to the EDK but with a new look and design that allows us to shorten the manufacturing time, reduce product lost due to anodize issues, and is based around a ballpoint refill we've never featured before. The vision for this pen was to create something that wasn't a direct riff on one of our existing pens. The EDK used a combination of the Retrakt upper body and a shortened Bolt grip. The Modal uses a Bolt grip and the Pocket Modal uses an EDK grip. For the RKiV we took smaller elements (tip taper, micro-rings, etc) and built from that aspect for a single-piece pen designed to use a standard oil-based ballpoint refill. We are curating two club sourced Cerakote finishes that will be released later this summer, BUT when Aaron was in the shop, he grabbed a handful of RKiV pens and used the last of his Burnt Orange on them to see how the pen looked in this color. The results are fantastic. The matte pumpkin orange color looks great on any pen, but really stands out on the clean lines of the RKiV. We were tempted to squirrel these away in drawers and keep them for ourselves, but we knew Club members would be hyped for this release which made the decision to offer them as a Club Exclusive that much easier. The Monster Green was tied for the top spot, and we sent these out almost immediately because Aaron had a fresh batch of this Cerakote waiting. Club Members will have early access and special pricing on this RKiV from 7\/6\/26 through 7\/12\/26. This is a slightly larger batch of pens, and if they do not sell out to the Club, they will move to the main site at full price on 7\/13\/26. The traditional matte black hardware and black chrome clicker have been added in our attempt to \"tame\" the neon green Cerakote.
