Lookbook Decograph
Decograph Fountain Pen
The Decograph came about as a test to see if we could combine classic fountain pen aesthetics with our modern take on design and manufacturing. It was also our first design built around machined resins rather than metal. Machining resins in a shop like ours can be a tricky proposition. Some resins are highly reactive to chemicals used in cutting lubricant that we use to increase productivity and efficiency. Other resins require much slower feeds and speeds as well as tooling designed to maximize the finish. As we expanded into thermoplastics, then acrylics, and two-part resins; each new material brought with it a new set of "rules" we needed to learn. Though we haven't done a lot of resin Decograph manufacturing since those first few years, the processes we used in that manufacturing run has helped us with the Vertex and other pens. The Decograph has since expanded to include aluminum, brass, copper, Delrin, and Ultem and we're always looking at other options to add to this pen to keep it fresh. Classically inspired aesthetics and modern pen making meet with the Decograph, the first pen in our Signature Line of fountain pens.

JoWo Makes an Appearance
The Brass & Copper Decographs saw the addition of custom JoWo threaded grip sections allowing for customers to choose between Bock or JoWo depending on their nib preference.

Cerakote Standouts
One of the first Cerakote options we added to the Decograph was the phenomenal Hunter Orange with black hardware, and we couldn't keep this one in stock for long.

Anniversary Colors
The Decograph looks incredible in our shop colors: grey, red, and black; we've been able to offer a variety of combinations of these three colors due to the ease of customization of clips, grips, bodies, and finials.

Cool Grey & Polished Premium Metals
Gorgeous cool grey anodize combined with polished brass or copper create a unique look that you won't find on other fountain pens on the market, but we've experimented with numerous combinations like this on the Decograph over the years.

Stealth Mode
Tumbled Delrin and matte black anodized aluminum hardware create a pen destined for your stealthiest writing tasks; keep all your thoughts secret with the top secret Black Delrin Decograph.
